The second part of the fixture is an X-Y drill press vice to pull the rod through the guid bar. The mill is stopped and the vice is positioned at the far left position and the vice is locked. The mill is started and the X-Y table is moved to the right, pulling the bar pased the cutter. When at the right-most position, the vice is unclamped and the vice is moved back to the left.
