Were getting toward the end of the machining of the cyclinders. A project within a project that started on April 12th. Although the machining on the cyclinder itself is nearing completion, there is plenty more work.
I couldn't resist taking the cyclinders home and mounting them on the chassis. The mounting holes didn't line up. I noticed that the surface on the frame was not machined. I may have missed that when machined the chassis. A check of the print shows that that surface was not marked for machining. Further checking of the print showed no machining markes, I just machined the surfaces that had other parts mounted on them, and missed that one. As I will show, I mounted the assembled frame in my mill and machined that surface.
