Usining a small rotary table I set in up on a 90 degree angle on the milling machine to drill the radial holes around the circumfrence of the nut. I choose to make 8 holes. This winds up being 5 even turns of the divider for each hole.
This is a closeup of the center drilling of the radial holes.
