| I finally got all the parts completed and assembled (stay tuned for descriptions of how I made the valve piston rings). I set the pistons, valves, and the eccentric cranks, by eye. On a cold, but sunny, midwestern day in early December, I fired up the compressor, connected the air hose, and opened it up. The first tests were less than sucessfull, but after some adjusting, it ran. |
